First framing phase: we structure the universe not as "pretty lore" but as world rules. We want a universe that justifies the tech, the war, the factions, the limits… and that never contradicts the gameplay.
We write lore as a useful document: it must help choose mechanics, environments, constraints. If an idea "looks cool" but breaks the logic, it goes.
Outcomes from this step:
- Faction/ideology foundations are starting to clarify.
- Environments are designed "readable" (FPS-friendly).
- Future mechanics (comms, infiltration, economy) must be narratively justified.
